A six-step ACT activity, from clarifying core values to a daily values-based check-in.
Step 1: Identify Your Core Values
From the list below, select 5-7 values that resonate most deeply with you. Consider what you want your life to stand for and what gives your actions meaning.
Step 2: Values Assessment and Action Planning
For each of your chosen values, rate how well you're currently living according to that value (1=not at all, 10=completely) and identify specific actions you can take.
Step 3: Identifying Barriers and Solutions
Reflect on what might get in the way of living according to your values and how you can work with these obstacles.
Step 4: Weekly Commitment and Reflection
Choose specific actions you will commit to this week and plan how you will track your progress.
Step 5: Values-Based Daily Check-in
Use this daily tracker to monitor how well you're living according to your values throughout the week. Rate each day from 1-10.
