Instructions
Find a quiet space without distractions, setting aside 20-30 mins.
Imagine yourself 5 years from now, having achieved your most important life goals and leading a rewarding, satisfying life.
Describe this future in vivid detail-
- Be specific and realistic in your description
- Cover key life areas (e.g., career, relationships, lifestyle)
- Write in the present tense (as if you're already living this life)
- Include concrete details (e.g., What does your typical day look like? What are your key relationships?)
After writing-
- Read through what you wrote
- Highlight the 3 most important elements
- Identify one small step you could take this week towards this vision
- Review your writing weekly to set new steps and review progress
- Incorporate SMART goals if desired
